The resource and recycling industry met for an exchange of science and practice on 9 – 10 March 2023 for the 12th DGAW Scientific Congress “Waste and Resource Management” at the Technical University of Hamburg, Germany. Also the EU Project FlashPhos took part at the congress!
About the DGAW Scientific Congress
The congress was designed to serve as a platform for the presentation of the latest outcomes of university and university-affiliated research within the realm of waste and resource management. These presentations encompassed completed master’s theses and ongoing dissertations that had reached an advanced stage or had been recently finalized. The organizers had a specific focus on engaging young researchers, inviting them to contribute relevant presentations or posters to the congress.
In this manner, the congress facilitated scientific exchange and provided insight to practitioners interested in understanding the current state of science and forthcoming developments. This approach also facilitated and fostered networking opportunities.
