On 7th of May 2025, the second FlashPhos Site Visit and Workshop took place at the cement plant of Dyckerhoff GmbH in Wiesbaden, Germany.
In presentations and an open discussion with experts from industry and research, we shed light on how the slag, a side product of the FlashPhos process can be integrated into the cement industry. Additionally, there was the opportunity to gain insights into a large-scale cement plant during a site visit.
The event addressed all those interested in innovations for phosphorus recovery and within the context of the cement and concrete additives industry, but also those generally involved in the topics of circular economy and recycling.
The event was jointly organized by Dyckerhoff, Steinbeis Europa Zentrum, VDZ Technology gGmbH, A TEC Production and Services GmbH and Italmatch Chemicals.
