The Industry Applications Society (IAS) serves as a valuable professional connection for those with engineering interests in the needs of the industrial or commercial sector. As one of the largest special interest societies within the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), IAS is dedicated to addressing the unique needs of industry and commerce. From 28 April – 2 May 2024, the 66th Annual IEEE-IAS/PCA Cement Industry Technical Conference will take place in Denver, Colorado in the United States.
Every year industry volunteers, most of whom have at least one full time job, organize this conference. Besides a large exhibition that can be visited, daily conference sessions can be attended. The conference continuously evolves to align with the dynamic needs of the industry, aiming to deliver the best value by catering to a diverse audience. Daily process training sessions thus are a key feature. These sessions concentrate on blended cements, delve into the production aspects of limestone cements, and explore advancements in equipment for finer cement production.
