VDI-Fachkonferenz Klärschlammbehandlung
On September 14-15, 2022, the 13th VDI Technical Conference “Klärschlammbehandlung” (“Sewage Sludge Treatment”) took place in Koblenz, Germany. Technical innovations for dewatering and drying sewage sludge as well as experiences with sewage sludge mono-incineration and new strategies and project results for P-recycling were presented in addition to the implementation of new legal developments. Other topics included the optimization of anaerobic sludge stabilization and dewatering, challenges of sustainable phosphorus management, and experiences with cooperation models and inter-municipal cooperation.
